On February 13th, the Deccan College in Pune (India) hosted a one-day workshop exploring minority languages and ethical considerations in language documentation. Co-organized by the Departments of Comparative Language Science and Linguistics, the event featured expert organizers, including Jessica K. Ivani (UZH), Sonal Kulkarni-Joshi, and Shubhangi Kardile (Deccan College, Pune). The workshop included engaging presentations and discussions on linguistic diversity, endangered language preservation, and ethical responsibilities in language documentation.
