ISLE institute workshop "Bridging the Gap: Unifying approaches to linguistic evolution"
The workshop "Bridging the Gap: Unifying approaches to linguistic evolution", organized by the Quantitative Diachronic Linguistics (QuaDLing) group (Sarah Babinski, Alexandru Craevschi, and Chundra Cathcart), took place on March 13-14, 2025. This workshop brought together scholars from multiple continents and disciplines. The goal was to foster closer communication between experts using a variety of data sources and methodological tools to investigate the broader field of linguistic evolution.
