Citizen Science Grant received for a Participatory Noise Mapping approach - Zino's (main-) side project

HearHere investigates how different population groups, including people with and without hearing impairments, and people on the hearing and/or neurological spectrum, experience urban sound environments. Using a mobile app, citizens record short clips of ambient sounds alongside GPS coordinates and subjective assessments such as volume, perceived disturbance and density-related stress. This captures the lived reality of urban noise and sound.
