Anna Graff, MPhil
PhD Student
Distributional Linguistics Lab
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Zurich (Distributional Linguistics Lab). A biological anthropologist by training, my PhD research project lies at the intersection between the biological sciences and linguistics. Specifically, I aim at understanding distributions of structural linguistic diversity on worldwide and regional scales and how they relate to distributions of (molecular) genetic diversity. I am particularly interested in studying hotbeds of linguistic diversity and how they come about.
