Mathematical Foundations of Language
I am a doctoral student at the Institute for the Interdisciplinary Study of Language Evolution working on the mathematical foundations of sequential and hierarchical structures in language. My research explores how mathematical perspectives can contribute to interdisciplinary projects such as the study of language evolution, offering my background in mathematics to help provide a precise and rigorous formal perspective on structures in language. I collaborate with the NCCR Evolving Language within the Hierarchy Implementation task. Before starting my PhD, I earned a BSc and MSc in Mathematics from ETH Zurich.
