Evolutionary Neuroscience of Language
I am a doctoral candidate in the Evolutionary Neuroscience of Language Lab at the Institute for the Interdisciplinary Study of Language Evolution. I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology here in Zurich, specializing in neuropsychology. I acquired practical experience working as a clinical neuropsychologist at Klinik Lengg, a rehabilitation center in Zurich. I continue to work there on a part-time basis, specifically on neuromodulation.
My main research project focuses on auditory neuroscience, with a particular emphasis on acoustics, speech perception, and true spatial audio. Our research employs a comprehensive approach to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of speech comprehension deficits in naturalistic settings.
Moreover, I am interested in the effective treatment of auditory processing dysfunctions and the broader implications for functional hearing. My passion for audio and sound synthesis enhances my research, integrating my professional pursuits with personal interests.
