New NCCR paper in iScience: The primate origin of the animate agent preference in language

Led by NCCR PhD student Sarah Brocard, a team from UZH (Balthasar Bickel) and the University of Neuchatel (Klaus Zuberbühler, Vanessa Wilson, and Chloé Berton) demonstrated that the animate agent preference in human sentence processing has shared roots in how great apes decide on which entity they prefer in video stimuli.
