Sabine Stoll presented an invited keynote lecture on "Language acquisition in the light of evolution" at the XVIth International Congress for the Study of Child Language (IASCL), Prague, on 18th July 2024.
She also gave a paper in the symposium on "Acquisition of complex predicates in diverse languages", entitled "Disentangling statistical properties that drive morphological acquisition in diverse languages". Co-authors: Giuachin Kreiliger, Jekaterina Mazara, and Balthasar Bickel
Morgane Jourdain, KU Leuven, presented a paper co-authored with Sabine Stoll in the symposium "Why does social contingency matter for language learning?", entitled "Simplification in contingent child-directed speech is the result of responsive alignment".
